<p>Position Summary</p> <p>The Elementary Teacher provides high-quality instruction and a positive learning environment for students in grades K-5. This role requires strong classroom management, effective planning, and the ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners.</p> <p>Essential Duties & Responsibilities</p> <p>Plan and deliver standards-based instruction aligned with the Georgia Standards of Excellence (GSE).</p> <p>Design engaging lessons that integrate literacy, math, science, and social studies skills.</p> <p>Use formative and summative assessments to monitor student progress and adjust instruction accordingly.</p> <p>Implement effective classroom management strategies that promote a safe, respectful, and productive learning environment.</p> <p>Differentiate instruction for diverse learners, including students receiving EIP, ESOL, gifted, and special education services.</p> <p>Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessments, grades, and parent communication.</p> <p>Communicate regularly with families to share progress and support student learning.</p> <p>Participate in grade-level collaboration, professional learning communities (PLCs), and schoolwide initiatives.</p> <p>Integrate technology effectively to enhance instruction and student engagement.</p> <p>Demonstrate professionalism, ethical behavior, and a commitment to continuous learning.</p> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>Valid Georgia teaching certificate in Early Childhood Education/Elementary Education or appropriate field.</p> <p>Strong knowledge of child development and instructional best practices.</p> <p>Ability to build positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues.</p> <p>Effective written and verbal communication skills.</p> <p>Experience with data-driven instruction and differentiated learning preferred.</p> <p>Knowledge & Skills</p> <p>Proficiency with instructional technology.</p> <p>Knowledge of classroom management frameworks and restorative practices.</p> <p>Ability to create inclusive, culturally responsive learning environments.</p>
