<p>General Overview of AstenJohnson Employee Benefits:</p> <ul> <li>401(k) with company contribution of $77.50 /week </li><li>Holidays and vacation pay </li><li>Medical, dental, prescription drug and vision plans for employees and their dependents </li><li>Flexible Spending Accounts, Health Savings Accounts, and Health Reimbursement Arrangements available </li><li>Educational benefits, including tuition reimbursement and scholarship program </li><li>Employee Assistance Program </li><li>Wellness Program </li></ul> <p>Electro-Mechanical Technician is responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, repairing and adjusting all manufacturing equipment in the plant consisting of electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, mechanical, servo, and PC systems.</p> <p>Job Duties:</p> <ul> <li>Responsible for machine maintenance, general maintenance, mechanical and electrical work within the plant facility. </li><li>Promote safety and good housekeeping practices. </li><li>Maintain records for all performed maintenance activities. </li><li>Execute the completion of all performed maintenance work orders. </li><li>Assist in the installation and/or repair of new equipment and machines. </li><li>Work as needed during emergencies and plant shut downs to provide necessary maintenance services. </li><li>Enter all related work orders into the maintenance computer tracking system. </li><li>Assist in the calibrations of plant equipment. </li></ul> <p>Required Skills:</p> <ul> <li>Ability to read, write, communicate and comprehend written and verbal instructions. </li><li>Positive attitude and team player mentality. </li><li>Maintenance skills in electronics, mechanical or electromechanical device repair. </li><li>Ability to troubleshoot AC & DC drives systems, PLC and electrical controls. </li><li>Ability to follow specification, blueprints, manuals and schematic drawings. </li><li>Proficiency with Microsoft Excel. </li></ul> <p>Education/Experience/Certification:</p> <ul> <li>High School diploma or GED equivalent. </li><li>Electrical/Mechanical/HVAC certification and manufacturing experience highly desirable. </li><li>Familiarization/experience/certifications with Lean Sigma concepts. </li></ul> <p>Working Conditions:</p> <p>Bending, stooping and lifting 50 pounds daily is required. Standing, walking for 10+ hours of shift is required. Candidate will be exposed to noise, warm temperatures and industrial equipment. Candidate must be able to wear all required safety equipment.</p>
