Reporting to the Division Director of Innovative Educational Services, this role supports schools in Chester County and beyond, both virtually and onsite, by facilitating strategic planning routines, comprehensive school improvement efforts, and the development of robust instructional systems. The Supervisor works directly with district and school leaders to build leadership capacity, align resources to evidence-based practices, and advance equitable outcomes for all learners.</p> <p>Central to this position is the ability to lead data-informed improvement strategies that result in sustainable, system-wide change. The Supervisor provides consultation and professional learning around initiatives such as Comprehensive Support and Improvement (CSI), Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS), strategic and comprehensive planning, LEA K-12 Guidance Plans, curriculum development, and master scheduling. With a coaching mindset and an emphasis on collaborative planning, the Supervisor ensures that improvement efforts are grounded in clear metrics, actionable feedback, and continuous progress monitoring.</p> <p>This role requires a strategic systems thinker who can connect the dots between leadership development, instructional design, and continuous improvement. The Supervisor collaborates closely with CCIU leaders-including the Director of Professional Learning, Director of CSI External Partnerships and Facilitator Onboarding Instructional Initiatives Coordinator, and Educational Consultants-to deliver responsive, high-quality services aligned to CCIU's strategic goals and the evolving needs of its school partners.</p> <p>Essential Duties and Program Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Serve as a facilitator of school improvement and point of contact for CSI, ACSI and ATSI schools within Chester County.</p> </li><li> <p>Provide support as a school improvement facilitator (SIF) and technical assistance based on the identified needs of LEAs.</p> </li><li> <p>Participate in onboarding and professional learning sessions as well as routine meetings both in Chester County and as part of the PDE Statewide team.</p> </li><li> <p>Monitor the implementation of routines for assigned CSI, ACSI and ATSI schools and provide implementation feedback and support to LEAs to maximize impact of action planning.</p> </li><li> <p>Provide strategic leadership coaching, mentoring, and professional development for schools to support sustainable school improvement.</p> </li><li> <p>Provide guidance for leadership teams in systemic operations and strategic practices that support CSI, ACSI, and ATSI action planning.</p> </li><li> <p>Provide coaching and consultation to support district and building-level school improvement efforts.</p> </li><li> <p>Serve as a coordinator of Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) services; including organizing ongoing systemic development and implementation, professional learning, technical assistance, and coordinating staff resources for Chester County and beyond.</p> </li><li> <p>Lead and guide divisional and interdivisional staff members on MTSS projects and initiatives in districts and schools.</p> </li><li> <p>Facilitate professional development for leaders and educators on effective MTSS processes, strategies, and data literacy.</p> </li><li> <p>Promote innovation and strategic thinking within school teams.</p> </li><li> <p>Provide facilitation and assistance with LEA initiatives.</p> </li><li> <p>Provide support in systemic school planning such as K-12 Guidance Plans, comprehensive and strategic planning, master scheduling review & revision, and Portrait of a Graduate.</p> </li><li> <p>Prepare and facilitate professional learning opportunities for Chester County educational agencies through the lens of systemic school improvement.</p> </li><li> <p>Provide support to LEAs in a cycle of continuous improvement and serve as a lead in establishing systemic systems that ensure the onboarding and continued development of all team members.</p> </li><li> <p>Deliver consultation, technical assistance, and professional development customized to district needs, along with ongoing follow up and implementation support as needed.</p> </li><li> <p>Collaborate with other CCIU staff members to support professional learning initiatives and promote cooperative activities and projects such as leadership professional learning and curriculum review and development.</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain and continually upgrade professional skills and acquire information in educational reform initiatives related to professional learning, standards, curriculum, educator effectiveness, and assessment.</p> </li><li> <p>Additional responsibilities</p> </li><li> <p>All other responsibilities as assigned.</p> </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <p>Education and Experience</p> <ul> <li>Masters of Education Degree, required </li><li>Five years of experience working as an administrator at the school or LEA/district level, preferred </li><li>A successful track record of success in implementing research or evidence-based interventions, preferably in schools that have been identified as in need of improvement </li></ul> <p>Professional Certifications</p> <ul> <li>Principal or supervisor certification throurgh PDE, required </li><li>Supervisor Letter of Eligibility through PDE, preferred </li></ul> <p>Salary Range (2025-26 SY):</p> <p>Administrators, Level F</p> <p>$118,603-$148,253 annually*</p> <ul> <li>Placement on band is based on years of direct experience in a comparable role. </li></ul> <p>SD</p> <p>Equal Opportunity Employer</p> <p>Chester County Intermediate Unit is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
