This part-time position plays a vital role in ensuring accurate and efficient video replay operations using DVSport software. This role is perfect for someone interested in sports technology, game operations, or pursuing a career in athletic event support.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Operate the DVSport Replay system during all home basketball games; </li><li>Tag and catalog plays in real-time for potential review by game officials; </li><li>Coordinate with game officials, the scorer's table, and the event management team to ensure timely and accurate replay delivery; </li><li>Conduct pre-event system tests to ensure all hardware and software are functioning properly; </li><li>Troubleshoot basic technical issues during live events, escalating when necessary; and </li><li>Maintain a professional and composed demeanor in high-pressure, live game situations. </li></ul> <p>Required Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Strong familiarity with the DVSport Replay system; </li><li>Attention to detail, especially under time constraints; </li><li>Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders (officials and table crew); and </li><li>Availability to work evenings and weekends for scheduled home basketball games. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Prior experience working with video replay systems or in a sports operations setting. </li></ul> <p>Instructions to Applicants:</p> <p>For full consideration, applicants must apply for the DVSport Replay Technician (Part-Time) at https://jobs.gmu.edu/.
