We are looking for an experienced Product leader to build customer-centric, market-leading digital products and capabilities. This position will report to BGMP's CTO with a dotted line to the President.</p> <p>As an accomplished product leader in the media industry, you'll help define the vision and implement BGMP's product strategy. As the voice of the customer, you'll partner closely with the Newsrooms, Sales, Business, Technology, and Marketing to help achieve key business outcomes.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <p>Oversee the Product function at BGMP. This includes defining the overall product vision and strategy across multiple brands and aligning Product with Company goals.</p> <p>Develop and embed a product-led culture of innovation and experimentation that is consistently curious about new technologies and their application to media.</p> <p>Champion an audience centric approach, ensuring that product decisions are informed by audience insights, user behavior data, and feedback.</p> <p>Define product roadmaps, KPIs, and success metrics for both short- and long-term goals for all the businesses and function's product projects in the company.</p> <p>Develop a prioritization methodology for ranking corporate roadmap items and build consensus among stakeholders on overall priority.</p> <p>Use data, analytics, and market insights to drive product decisions and optimize user experience.</p> <p>Monitor product performance, user feedback, and KPIs to ensure continuous improvement.</p> <p>Partner with the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) members to stay ahead of market trends, consumer behavior, and competitor strategies to identify new product opportunities.</p> <p>Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure cross-departmental coordination and strategic alignment.</p> <p>Use data, analytics, and market insights to drive product decisions and optimize user experience.</p> <p>Encourage a culture of collaboration, accountability, and customer-first thinking.</p> <p>Inspire innovation, creativity, and build and scale a high-performing product team, defining clear roles and goals.</p> <p>Lead stakeholder product meetings, while regularly updating senior leadership and key stakeholders on priorities, product performance, challenges, and successes.</p> <p>Maintain transparency and effective communication across the organization to ensure alignment with business goals.</p> <p>Collaborate with legal and privacy teams to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.</p> <p>Qualifications:</p> <p>Several years of product management experience leading design for consumer or subscription products, with high value content for web or mobile platforms.</p> <p>Demonstrated experience in building up the Product function at an organization.</p> <p>Deep understanding of the media industry, including publishing, advertising, subscription models, and content distribution channels.</p> <p>Proven ability to lead and manage cross-functional teams in dynamic, fast-paced environments.</p> <p>Strong analytical, data driven and problem-solving skills, with a bias toward action and the ability to juggle multiple priorities effectively.</p> <p>Strong experience in managing product life cycles, from ideation to launch, especially within printing and digital media.</p> <p>Extensive experience working with engineering, editorial, design, and other key teams to drive alignment, develop product value, create road maps and achieve product goals.</p> <p>Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present product vision, strategy, and updates clearly and persuasively to senior stakeholders and executives.</p> <p>Comfortable navigating ambiguity and managing through change, while remaining resilient and results oriented. Ability to simplify complex product strategies and concepts to engage stakeholders at all levels, from team members to executives.</p> <p>Proven ability to develop long-term product vision.</p> <p>Proficient in project management tools (Monday, Wrike, Jira, Smartsheet, Confluence, Slack, Zoom, etc.).</p> <p>Familiarity with OKR metrics is a plus.</p> <p>Role required to operate from the Boston Office in alignment with Company Policy.</p>
