<p>Job Description:</p> <p>This position is eligible for up to two days remote work per week on the Newport, RI campus. Preferred candidates will have experience with enterprise-level applications in a higher education environment such as Ellucian Colleague, TeamDynamix, Softdocs eTrieve, Blackbaud Raiser's Edge, and Slate CRM.</p> <p>BASIC FUNCTION:</p> <p>The Associate Director of Enterprise Applications will demonstrate leadership and be responsible for operational services by ensuring continued reliability of enterprise applications through planned maintenance and support to business users.</p> <p>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:</p> <ul> <li>Manage Enterprise Application service requests by seeking resolution through problem solving, research, troubleshooting and collaboration. </li><li>Oversee the planning and execution of recurring annual processes. </li><li>Lead staff in the execution of daily operations and internal projects. </li><li>Evaluate existing technologies to maintain proper version control and patching and provide recommendations for upgrades or replacement. </li><li>Lead efforts to maintain and improve documentation of applications, interfaces, and operational processes. </li><li>Communicate with vendors, business users, and project managers on Enterprise Application efforts. </li><li>Oversee testing and implementation of new functionality and system enhancements. </li><li>Provide analysis of existing operational processes and workflows and recommend improvements or efficiencies. </li><li>Develop standards and procedures for change management in Enterprise Applications. </li><li>Provide status updates and reports to IT management on projects and operations. </li></ul> <p>OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:</p> <ul> <li>Collaborate with IT leadership in the planning and execution of tasks in the use of technology to meet both department and University goals. </li><li>Assists with the support and development of third party and cloud-based integrations for Enterprise Applications. </li><li>Supports efforts for cybersecurity, data protection, business continuity and disaster recovery efforts within Enterprise Applications. </li><li>Perform such other related duties that may be assigned. </li></ul> <p>LICENSES, TOOLS AND EQUIPMENT:</p> <p>N/A</p> <p>ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS:</p> <p>The incumbent is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions.</p> <p>Requirements:</p> <p>MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business or related field. </li><li>A minimum of five years of professional experience working with enterprise-level applications. </li><li>A minimum of two years of management/supervisory experience. </li><li>Candidate should exhibit knowledge and experience in the following: database management systems, on premise and cloud-based enterprise system architecture, system implementation and integrations, developing test plans, leading IT projects. </li></ul> <p>REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES:</p> <ul> <li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills </li><li>Detail oriented </li><li>Excellent oral and written communication skills at technical and non-technical levels. </li><li>Ability to provide exemplary service to our end-users and proactively seek opportunities for service improvement </li><li>Ability to maintain a positive attitude towards providing customer service and building relationships with users </li><li>Ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks with the ability to follow each to resolution </li><li>Ability to work effectively as a team member or independently as appropriate </li><li>Ability to collaborate with administrative users and Information Technologies staff members </li><li>Ability to provide reliable and dependable service during critical times of the University calendar </li></ul> <p>PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:</p> <ul> <li>Master's or advanced degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or related field. </li><li>More than five years of professional experience working with enterprise-level applications in a higher education environment. </li><li>More than two years of management/supervisory experience. </li></ul> <p>Additional Information:</p> <p>Salve Regina University offers generous benefits to eligible employees including (waiting periods apply):</p> <ul> <li>health, dental and vision coverage available on the first of the month following date of hire </li><li>403(b) retirement plan through TIAA with employee and employer contributions as well as access to advising services </li><li>long-term disability coverage </li><li>employer-paid life and AD&D insurance </li><li>up to 100% free tuition at Salve for eligible employees and qualified dependents </li><li>robust wellness program and free access to the on-campus Fitness Center </li></ul> <p>Other available benefits include:</p> <ul> <li>supplemental life insurance for employees and dependents </li><li>supplemental insurance coverage through Aflac </li><li>Tuition Exchange scholarship program.
