<p>Position Overview:</p> <p>The Intern, Product Marketing, supports the Product Manager/Lead in the execution of product Marketing activities for a specific jewelry collection. This role will help assist an entire category portfolio with the Product (Lead / Manager) to create a balanced mix of innovative, high-growth, and core sustaining products. This role assists in new product development and pricing analysis, ensuring accuracy of information and efficient communication across teams. The intern will follow projects and collections and contribute to develop reports, presentations, and analysis to develop product strategies and support business objectives.</p> <p>Location: This position will be based out of our Corporate Headquarters in New York, NY.</p> <p>Salary: Compensation for this internship will be $25 per hour.</p> <p>Key Accountabilities:</p> <p>New Product Support</p> <ul> <li>Supports the creation and maintenance of product calendars and mappings throughout various stages of development, ensuring accuracy of item detail. </li><li>Ensures that product details within category architectures are systematically maintained and milestones are tracked appropriately. </li><li>Assists with research, analysis of product offerings and recommendations to inform new product development and understands what that entails in order to propose his own ideas. </li><li>Analyzes classification, price point, and sales trends to inform decisions on product introductions. </li></ul> <p>Pricing Support</p> <ul> <li>Assists with the execution and implementation of margin reviews and pricing strategies. </li><li>Supports the team in efforts to conduct analysis and gather comparable product information to inform pricing and margin targets. </li><li>Supports manager with model pricing scenarios and validating pricing based on sales volume and margin drivers. </li></ul> <p>Lifecycle Management & Supporting Projects</p> <ul> <li>Assists with recommendations, execution and implementation of lifecycle planning reviews. </li><li>Supports the development of reports and presentations regarding collections and trends, with accurate knowledge of it all, as well as new product introductions and product follow-ups. </li><li>Effectively follows the project all along, providing valuable intel to implement his follow up work effectively. </li></ul> <p>Cross-Functional Communication</p> <ul> <li>Assists in maintaining the various architectures, sales, and sales reports and presentations as needed. </li><li>Supports communication efforts with internal teams, with strong data to get the right message across. </li><li>Help provide information about the product at large and its target audience, and know what's happening on his portfolio. </li><li>Get connected with Sales Merch, Retail, stores and be on the lookout on all there is in order to be at the height of the new trends. </li></ul> <p>Required Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. </li><li>Strong curiosity and knowledge of jewelry and fashion industry. </li><li>General knowledge of jewelry design, materials, and manufacturing processes are well received. </li><li>Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. </li><li>Great communication and presentation skills. </li><li>Ability to work independently and as part of a high-level working team. </li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word). </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Knowledge of product lifecycle management (PLM) software. </li></ul>
