Performs welding and limited millwright functions.</p> <p>Primary Job Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Unloads, shakes out, and organizes steel materials </li><li>Erects steel columns, beams and bar joist </li><li>Installs materials efficiently while meeting acceptable job specific tolerances </li><li>Welds and/or bolts connections per details </li><li>Installs roof and floor edge angle and bent plate </li><li>Installs miscellaneous structural steel including kicker brace, support channel, hangers, posts, etc. </li><li>Lays out and installs roof/floor frames </li><li>Welds moment connections </li><li>Bolts aligned structural-steel members in position for permanent bolting or welding into place </li><li>Installs bridging in bar joist </li><li>Installs metal roof/floor deck </li><li>Sets and grouts precast concrete hollow core plank </li><li>Erects steel stairs stringer, metal pans, guardrail, and handrail </li><li>Erects amusement ride catwalks and handrails </li><li>Installs ladders, railings, grating, and other miscellaneous steel </li><li>Installs cable rail fall protection </li><li>Provides proper signaling to equipment operators </li><li>Cuts and welds steel using torches and welding equipment </li><li>Adheres to the company's safety policies to create a safe work environment </li><li>Other duties as assigned </li></ul> <p>PM21</p> <p>Adena- Ironworker/ Steel Erection</p> <p>Desired Qualifications/Skills:</p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma or GED required </li><li>Rigging experience required </li><li>Mechanical ability to perform millwright type functions required </li><li>Sufficient education or an equivalent combination of experience, education and training that provides the desired knowledge, skills and characteristics to perform duties of the role </li><li>10 Hour OSHA Certification or willingness to obtain within ninety (90) days of employment </li><li>Must maintain a valid driver's license and clean driving record </li><li>Ability to work at heights without fear </li><li>Ability to perform on a regular basis in outside weather conditions consisting of wet, hot, humid, and/or freezing temperatures, also contending with dirt and dust </li><li>Must be willing and able to travel to jobsites which may require overnight stays away from home </li><li>Ability to meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistency </li><li>Must have a good work ethic, and the ability to understand and carry out written or verbal instructions </li><li>Ability to read specifications and blueprints to determine the locations, quantities, and sizes of materials required </li><li>Excellent Communication Skills </li></ul> <p>Equal Opportunity Employer</p>
