Your adventure begins now-unleash your potential with MANTECH!</p> <p>MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Counterintelligence Threat Technical Analyst to join our team in Springfield, VA.</p> <p>The Counterintelligence Threat Technical Analyst will leverage their strong technical background and knowledge to support the Sponsor's mission by providing expert threat analysis and cyber defense support.</p> <p>Responsibilities include but are not limited to:</p> <ul> <li>Guaranteeing the completion of accurate and timely reports, ensuring all processes and activities align with established timeframes and standard operating procedures. </li><li>Offering written and technical analysis to support forensic reports, CI Cyber inquiries, and recurring monthly, quarterly, and annual CI Cyber Threat reports. </li><li>Detecting anomalous network activity through data analysis, evaluating intrusion detection systems, incident tickets, event and log analysis, and security change tracking. </li><li>Performing thorough threat analysis, generating forecasts and alerts, and recommending effective countermeasures to mitigate risks. </li><li>Investigating malicious code to determine attack vectors, payloads, and the extent of damage while proposing corrective actions. </li><li>Identifying and translating stakeholder needs into technical requirements while documenting best practices and lessons learned for quality assurance. </li></ul> <p>Minimum Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma/GED with 5+ years of progressively responsible experience in Network Analysis. </li><li>Experience identifying, deciphering, and understanding network artifacts. </li><li>Ability to possess or obtain certification to comply with DoD 8570.01-M Information Assurance (IA) requirements within one calendar year. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications :</p> <ul> <li>Credentialed graduate of an accredited federal or DoD CI training academy. </li><li>Bachelor's or post-graduate degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics discipline. </li><li>Possession of a DoD Cyber Crimes Investigator certification. </li><li>Significant experience with malware analysis and cyber risk automation tools. </li></ul> <p>Clearance Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>An active TS/SCI with the ability to pass a Polygraph. </li></ul> <p>Physical Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%. </li><li>Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc. </li><li>Frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. </li><li>Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations. </li></ul> <p>MANTECH considers all qualified applicants for employment without regard to disability or veteran status or any other status protected under any federal, state, or local law or regulation.</p> <p>If you need a reasonable accommodation to apply for a position with MANTECH, please email us at careers@mantech.com and provide your name and contact information.</p>
