New wage scale!</p> <p>#2025</p> <p>Solaris HealthCare is looking for an Activities Assistant Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team!</p> <p>Activities Assistant CNA Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Assist in planning, organizing, and implementing a variety of recreational, social, and therapeutic activities for residents/patients, considering their individual interests and abilities. </li><li>Provide hands-on assistance and support to residents/patients during activities, ensuring their safety, comfort, and enjoyment. </li><li>Encourage resident/patient participation in activities and facilitate social interactions to promote a sense of community and belonging. </li><li>Maintain accurate records of resident/patient participation in activities and any observations or changes in behavior or mood. </li><li>Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including nursing staff, therapists, and social workers, to integrate activity programs into the overall care plan. </li><li>Modify activities as needed to accommodate the diverse needs and preferences of residents/patients, including those with physical or cognitive limitations. </li><li>Assist with the procurement and organization of supplies, equipment, and materials needed for activities. </li><li>Communicate regularly with residents/patients, families, and team members to solicit feedback, address concerns, and promote engagement in activities. </li><li>Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills related to activities programming and resident/patient care. </li><li>Adhere to federal, state, and local regulations governing activities programming in long-term care facilities. </li></ul> <p>Activities Assistant CNA Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or equivalent. </li><li>Current certification as a Nursing Assistant (CNA) in the state of Florida. </li><li>Previous experience in activities programming or a related field preferred but not required. </li><li>Passion for working with older adults and individuals with diverse needs and abilities. </li><li>Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. </li><li>Creativity, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude. </li><li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team. </li><li>Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and schedules. </li><li>Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic. </li><li>Commitment to resident-centered care and promoting quality of life </li></ul>
