The role will be based in Raynham, MA or West Chester, PA, USA</p> <p>Scope of Responsibilities</p> <p>You will facilitate the balancing of demand with supply to offer the best product availability and optimize inventory levels. The Senior Analyst will be responsible for building a groundbreaking planning capability, in line with the strategy for the platform. Critical to building these new capabilities will be establishing foundational capabilities in the core planning systems and ERP systems and evolving the planning process from a functional focus to an end-to-end value stream focus with an accelerated evolution towards sophisticated analytics and autonomous planning capabilities.</p> <p>Key Role Responsibilities</p> <p>E2E Planning Optimization & Supply chain configuration</p> <ul> <li>Optimize Planning Methods & Planning Parameters </li><li>Establish segmentations, tolerances/triggers for alerts & critical issue. </li><li>Defines inventory de-coupling points and develops replenishment strategies </li><li>Sets supply chain parameters in alignment with sites, e.g., batch sizes, make frequencies, safety stock levels, minimum order quantities, lead times, etc. </li><li>Orchestrates E2E Planning: identify and address E2E Plan imbalances (customer service, cost, inventory) </li></ul> <p>Sense & respond</p> <ul> <li>Generate Smart Alerts, identify exceptions across Network and support the issue resolution from planning standpoint </li><li>Assess exceptions for Business impact & categorize for blocking issue (STEM) </li></ul> <p>IBP Process & Scenario planning</p> <ul> <li>Actively participates and represents the Global Planning team in the S&OP/IBP process </li><li>Connects the outputs of the Site Supply Review meetings (SRM's), develops the E2E scenarios and resolutions, and translate these early warnings into the S&OP/IBP processes to drive the right decision-making process </li><li>Provide inputs for strategic capacity management across portfolio </li><li>Scenarios planning & Story telling </li></ul> <p>NPI planning</p> <ul> <li>Optimize NPI planning hierarchy, parameters and Set based Planning systems </li><li>Supervise Demand/Supply/Inventory NPI plan and Supply Commits as of production readiness </li><li>Highlight and mitigate NPI planning risk through IBP process </li></ul> <p>Support Metrics/critical metric</p> <ul> <li>Reporting, supervising and highlighting gaps to drive critical metric improvement (OTIF, CBO, Plan Attainment, FC-Accuracy), Inventory (DOS, SLOB) </li></ul> <p>Cross-functional teamwork:</p> <p>This position works closely with various partners: Demand and Supply Planning teams, Value Stream Leaders (VSLs), Product Management, Finance, commercial.</p> <p>Qualifications:</p> <p>Education:</p> <p>Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field is required</p> <ul> <li>An advanced degree is preferred </li><li>Proven business acumen of end-to-end supply chain principles. Commercial and financials acumen an asset </li><li>High proficiency with Microsoft software packages (Excel, PowerPoint) </li><li>APICS certification is an asset </li></ul> <p>Experience:</p> <ul> <li>A minimum of 6 years proven experience in supply chain planning in growing levels of responsibility, </li><li>In depth understanding of end-to-end supply chain principles </li><li>Good understanding of the business processes and tools and the specific business challenges </li><li>Scenario planning & Analytical skills, including Power BI, Tableau or Alteryx is a must </li><li>In depth knowledge of ERP systems (SAP, APO, OMP or equivalent) </li><li>Good presentation skills and sophisticated skills with Microsoft Excel and Power Point </li><li>Proven skills like communication, organization, people management, organizational change </li></ul> <p>Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:</p> <ul> <li>Ability to translate sophisticated situations into simple working solutions </li><li>Ability to work independently in a structured and driven way.
