We believe in work-life balance and give you the freedom to excel while growing both personally and professionally.</p> <p>As a Maintenance Mechanic, you'll be the go-to expert ensuring that equipment, systems, and tools across the Harvey facility run safely and efficiently. You'll use your hands-on mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting skills to keep our operations running at peak performance.</p> <p>What You'll Be Doing:</p> <ul> <li>Perform preventive maintenance tasks and complete work orders across plant systems </li><li>Troubleshoot motor control systems, replace faulty devices (fuses, motor starters, relays, etc.) </li><li>Diagnose and repair 1-phase and 3-phase equipment including pumps, agitators, compressors, and packaging lines </li><li>Maintain instrumentation such as flow meters, level meters, switches, transmitters, and sensors </li><li>Resolve faults in PLC-controlled systems, including valves and automation interlocks </li><li>Ensure compliance for facility systems like fire suppression, boilers, and elevators </li><li>Conduct welding and piping assembly for system fabrication and repairs </li><li>Maintain and repair mobile equipment including forklifts, aerial lifts, and pallet jacks </li><li>Follow all site safety protocols and work permit procedures </li><li>Address ASRS fault codes and interface with Savannah warehouse management system </li><li>Perform electrical installations and repairs on motors, drives, valves, lighting, and instrumentation </li><li>Troubleshoot fault alarms and collaborate with operations to support the FT Batch program </li></ul> <p>What We're Looking For:</p> <p>Experience: 5+ years in maintenance or industrial repair roles</p> <p>Education: High school diploma or GED required; Technical school certification a plus</p> <p>Skills:</p> <ul> <li>• Proficiency in automation, fabrication, welding, and piping </li><li>• Strong background in hydraulic and pneumatic systems </li><li>• Electrical and plumbing system knowledge </li><li>• Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics (single line, ladder diagrams, isometric, cross-sectional) </li><li>• Experience with PLC troubleshooting or programming </li></ul> <p>Traits: Strong communication, safety-minded, team-oriented</p> <p>Why FUCHS?</p> <ul> <li>Competitive hourly wage based on experience and internal equity </li><li>Career growth in a high-tech, global manufacturing environment </li><li>Work on projects that challenge and expand your capabilities </li><li>A supportive culture grounded in respect, reliability, and integrity </li><li>Continuous learning and opportunity to innovate </li><li>Comprehensive benefits-https://fuchs.com/us/en/benefits </li></ul> <p>At FUCHS, we're more than a team-we're a community that moves the world forward.</p> <p>Ready to make an impact?
