<p>Job Description:</p> <p>Regional School District 8 is accepting applications for a team-oriented and innovative Special Education Teacher to lead our STEP program at the middle and/or high school levels starting for the 2025-26 school year. Ideal applicants should have experience teaching and supporting students with behavioral, motivational, social-emotional needs. The candidate should be well versed in assessing how each student learns best, differentiating and modifying curriculum, adapting teaching methods to fit unique learning profiles, and collaborating with school staff, families, and outside providers.</p> <p>Requirements include college degree and relevant CT certification in Special Education.
