<p>5/8hr shifts</p> <p>This is an on-call position where the response time is 45 minutes maz</p> <p>GENERAL SUMMARY</p> <ul> <li>Provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality compassionate patient care. </li><li>Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, to provide, delegate, supervise and document care and teaching of patients and family. </li><li>Effectively communicates pertinent patient/family information to health care team. </li><li>Participates in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and ensures implementation of solutions. </li><li>Acts as a patient advocate while utilizing the nursing process to plan, deliver, and evaluate goal focused, individualized, safe, age specific care for all patients including those with complex pathophysiological needs and/or psychosocial needs. </li></ul> <p>UNIT DESCRIPTION:</p> <p>Taking care of patients that need heart catheterizations and also electrophysiology patients throughout the procedure. The RN will be an intraprocedural RN, mixing drips, and giving sedation.</p> <p>EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED</p> <ul> <li>BSN preferred. </li><li>Graduation from an accredited school of nursing. </li><li>Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans. </li><li>3-5 years of nursing experience </li><li>Experience in ICU, ER or critical care </li><li>Cardiac ICU experience preferred or cardiac in general </li><li>CVICU preferred </li></ul> <p>Additional Information</p> <ul> <li>Organization: Henry Ford West Bloomfield Hospital </li><li>Department: HFWB Cath Lab </li><li>Shift: Day Job </li><li>Union Code: Not Applicable </li></ul>
