<p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Follow all rules and guidelines set forth by the NCAA, CCIW, Carroll University, and Athletic Department policies and procedures including the Athletic Personnel Code of Conduct </li><li>Assist the head coach in planning, coordinating, and directing practice and training sessions </li><li>Recruit prospective student-athletes and use Front Rush software </li><li>Supervise academic study hall sessions and other team events as assigned </li><li>Assist with sport camps and clinics throughout the year </li><li>Assist the strength and conditioning coordinator with implementation of program </li><li>Assist with home meet logistics, event set-up and breakdown, and meet management </li><li>Assist with coordination of team travel and meals for away meets </li><li>Assist with pool management, scheduling and supervision of lifeguards </li><li>Other duties as assigned by the Head Coach or Director of Athletics </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Maintain full time status in an eligible Carroll University graduate program </li><li>Additional approval is required for entrance in graduate programs outside of Education </li><li>Candidates must be willing and able to support and advance the University mission. </li></ul> <p>Education and/or Experience:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree required </li><li>Previous experience in coaching preferred </li><li>Participation in a college level swimming and diving program preferred </li></ul> <p>Human Relation Skills:</p> <ul> <li>Ability to function effectively as a team player within the program and athletics department. </li><li>Ability to conduct self in a productive, professional manner at all times, representing Carroll University at the highest level as a role model and mentor for our student athletes. </li><li>A working knowledge of Microsoft word, publisher, excel, and related computer applications vital to organizational skills that ensure success in our program. </li><li>Ability to work effectively with people regardless of their age, gender, race, sexual orientation, ethnicity, religion, ability, socio-economic background, or job type. </li><li>Excellent communication skills as they relate to recruiting, working with parents, alumni, and current student athletes. </li></ul> <p>Special Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Must have valid motor vehicle license and be insurable under the University's insurance plan. </li></ul>
