<p>Position Summary</p> <p>This position is responsible for the management of the State Records Center in a cost-effective and efficient manner. The primary duties of the position include:</p> <ul> <li>Provide leadership and direction in management of the warehouse operations through staffing, recruitment, supervision, training, evaluation, and discipline of SRC Inventory Control Coordinators. </li><li>Provide customer service through proactive coordination and assistance among all agencies. </li><li>Support the statewide records management program. </li><li>Assist with the development of SRC procedures and operational budgets. </li><li>Manage the day-to-day operation to meet established revenue targets; and, </li><li>Participate on DOA and inter-agency management teams. </li></ul> <p>For more information, please see the full position description.</p> <p>Salary Information</p> <p>The starting hourly rate for this position will be $30.00 to $35.00 per hour depending upon candidate qualifications. This classification is assigned to pay schedule/range 81-04. Pay for current state employees will be set in accordance with the compensation plan. DOA does not sponsor work visas and is not an eligible OPT (Optional Practical Training) employer for F-1 international students. In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States, and to complete the required employment eligibility form upon hire.</p> <p>Valid driver's license and the ability to meet DOA Fleet standards is required to drive state-owned vehicles for the performance of job duties.</p> <p>The selected applicant must be able to perform physical labor, able to lift up to 50 lbs. with or without accommodation.</p> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>Qualified applicants will have experience:</p> <ul> <li>Managing confidential records (i.e. requests, records retention, destruction schedules) </li><li>Interpreting and applying laws, Administrative Rules, and/or policies to ensure compliance </li><li>Utilizing a database to track records and files </li><li>Warehouse and space management </li></ul> <p>Well qualified applicants may have the following:</p> <ul> <li>Experience as a lead worker and/or formal supervisor (e.g. delegation of work, hiring, evaluation, project management, etc.) </li><li>Possess a class B Commercial Driver's License </li><li>Experience developing and implementing processes or procedures </li></ul> <p>How To Apply</p> <p>Apply online!
