<p>Summit Diagnostic Center is recruiting for a Nuclear Medicine Technologist. This is a full time position working at multiple sites within diagnostic imaging.</p> <p>Examples of Duties (List does not include all duties assigned)</p> <ul> <li>Schedules and coordinates patient exams. </li><li>Prepares and injects radiopharmaceuticals for diagnostic imaging procedures. </li><li>Processes diagnostic imaging procedures and records radiopharmaceutical administration to patients. </li><li>Delivers images to physician for interpretation. </li><li>Receives and records appropriate information regarding receipt of radioactive materials and pharmaceuticals. </li><li>Requests and coordinates all necessary patient information including medical chart, charge slips. </li><li>Performs quality assurance procedures on the equipment on a daily basis including daily/weekly surveys and wipe testing procedures as required. </li><li>Examines images for technical quality and diagnostic acceptability. </li><li>Ensures compliance with the radioactive materials licensure requirements. </li><li>Demonstrates current competencies related to job position. </li><li>Maintains strict confidentiality. </li><li>Adheres to all aspects of the corporate compliance plan. </li><li>Actively participates in site-level Quality Improvement Activities. Each employee will contribute to the continual evaluation site performance as well as the </li></ul> <p>implementation and measurement of improvement activities that increase the quality of care provided to patients.</p> <ul> <li>Performs related tasks as requested by supervisor. </li></ul> <p>Education</p> <p>Graduate of an AMA approved school of nuclear medicine technology.</p> <p>Experience</p> <p>Minimum one year experience in nuclear medicine.</p> <p>Certification/License</p> <p>Registered by either the ARRT or NMTCB.</p>
