We are an upbeat team looking for an individual who has a passion for helping others and wants to make a positive difference in their community.</p> <p>CERTIFICATIONS: CDA or RDA required, X-ray certification preferred</p> <p>EXPERIENCE: Must have Dental Assistant certification</p> <p>JOB TYPE: Full-time</p> <p>SCHEDULE: MONDAY-FRIDAY</p> <p>PAY: Starting at $0</p> <p>BONUS PAY: up to $500 additional per month</p> <p>BENEFITS: Healthcare (medical, dental, vision, etc) Benefits, 401k, Paid Holidays, and Paid Time Off available for all eligible employees!</p> <p>SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:</p> <ul> <li>Work chair-side with dentists, perform patient care, and general laboratory duties </li><li>Take and process dental radiographs (x-rays) </li><li>Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment </li><li>Take impressions of the patient's teeth (models), extractions, composite fillings, etc... </li><li>Teach patients appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health (e.g., tooth brushing, flossing, and nutritional counseling) </li><li>Ask about the patient's medical history and take blood pressure and pulse </li><li>Help patients feel comfortable before, during, and after dental treatment </li><li>Provide patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment procedures </li></ul> <p>Join our team and help drive our mission that all children, regardless of family income, deserve access to high-quality dental care, in a kid-friendly and fun environment!</p>
