Orange County Government is committed to providing equal opportunity in employment and services to all individuals.</p> <p>Job Description</p> <p>General Functions</p> <p>This position is responsible for supervisory work in residential service programs.</p> <p>Work is performed under the supervision of a Program Manager or Senior Program Manager and is reviewed through conferences, records, file reviews, reports, and results achieved.</p> <p>Representative Duties/Assignments</p> <ul> <li>Supervises and evaluates the performance of Senior Children¿s Services Counselors, Children¿s Services Counselors, and any other staff employees of the assigned program. </li><li>Coordinates activities of the assigned program in the absence of, or on behalf of the Program Manager or Senior Program Manager. </li><li>Ensures program staff meets all training and development requirements as directed by the Program Manager or Senior Program Manager. </li><li>Prepares staff schedules and ensures appropriate staffing and supervision of clients. </li><li>Assigns and supervises client case assignments and other staff duties as directed or approved by the Program Manager or Senior Program Manager. </li><li>Provides 24 hour, 7 day per week on call supervision for program. </li><li>Assures provision of appropriate services to program clients through direct supervision, consultation, and supervisory review of casework. </li><li>Develops and coordinates services with practitioners and programs within the county, courts, or other agencies. </li><li>Prepares and submits accurate and timely reports as required by the Program Manager or Senior Program Manager. </li><li>Assures program compliance with county, division, program, contract, and Council on Accreditation (COA) requirements. </li><li>Accompanies clients to medical clinic and provides the Psychiatrist with client updates. </li><li>Assesses the youth in crisis for possible Baker Act. </li><li>Performs other related duties as required. </li></ul> <p>Minimum Qualifications</p> <p>Master's Degree from an accredited institution in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology or closely related field and two years of supervisory experience in counseling, social or residential services.</p> <p>Licensed in the State of Florida as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).</p> <p>Must be able to work a flexible schedule including nights, holidays, and weekends.</p> <p>Must possess and maintain a valid Florida driver¿s license and may be required to provide own vehicle for job related duties.</p> <p>Proficient in Microsoft Word and email computer applications.</p> <p>Preferences</p> <p>Knowledge of Magellan Health Services, Medicaid, Behavior Health Overlay Services (BHOS), and/ or Therapeutic Behavioral On-Site Services (TBOS).</p> <p>Application Deadline</p> <p>Open Date: 05/05/2025</p> <p>Close Date: 05/19/2025</p> <p>This posting is subject to close without prior notice.</p> <p>Salary Information</p> <p>Pay Grade: 017 - From $28.21 to $32.44</p> <p>FLSA Status: Exempt</p> <p>Placement based on Education and Experience</p> <p>Benefits</p> <ul> <li>10 paid holidays andup to 2 floating holidays annually. </li><li>18 days paid time off per year. </li><li>Longevity bonus based on years of service. </li><li>6 days of paid TERM (sick) time annually. </li><li>Low-cost medical, dental, vision, additional life insurance. </li><li>Free basic life, long term disability, and employee assistance for all the family members effective on day one. </li><li>Participation in the Florida Retirement System. </li><li>Employee assistance program includes multiple free one on one sessions with licensed counselors and online tools for legal advice, financial planning, personal life balance, etc. </li><li>Free access to Wellworks gyms and OrangeCounty Recreation Centers. </li><li>Free onsite wellness coaching, including dietician and nurse. </li><li>Tuition reimbursement program. </li><li>Earn service time to forgive student loans. </li></ul> <p>Disclaimer: Benefits mayvary for employees under collective bargaining agreements.</p> <p>For more information on Benefits visit - https://www.ocfl.net/EmploymentVolunteerism/EmployeeBenefits.aspx</p> <p>Veterans Preference</p> <p>If you are claiming Veterans' Preference, you are responsible for providing the required eligibility documentation by the closing date of the posting.
