<p>Posting Number: 2019625F Position Title: Adjunct Faculty - Studio Art Position Type: Faculty Location: Villanova, PA Recruitment Type: Internal/External Applicants Work Schedule: part-time/12-months Department: 146-Theatre Position Summary:</p> <p>Villanova University invites applications for adjunct teaching positions in Studio Art for undergraduate courses only. The specific courses involved may vary from semester to semester but may include Basic Drawing and Basic Watercolor Painting, among others. The applicant must be committed to excellence in the teaching of communication.</p> <p>Villanova is a Catholic university sponsored by the Augustinian Order. The University is an equal opportunity employer and seeks candidates who understand, respect and can contribute to the University's mission and values.</p> <p>Duties and Responsibilities:</p> <p>Teaching and related duties will vary with the specific course(s) being taught.</p> <p>Minimum Qualifications:</p> <p>An MFA in a visual arts discipline is required and/or experience suitable for course instruction.</p> <p>Preferred Qualifications:</p> <p>Previous undergraduate teaching experience strongly preferred.</p> <p>Physical Requirements and/or Unusual Work Hours:</p> <p>Night classes are possible (6:10-8:50 pm).</p> <p>Special Message to Applicants:</p> <p>The Theatre and Studio Art Department will accept applications throughout the year.
