<p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Service and/or repair vacuum trucks and other types of heavy equipment in shop and off site. </li><li>Troubleshoot and evaluate various mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems. </li><li>Perform some welding and fabrication as required (mig, stick, plasma, torch cutting) </li><li>Read and understand technical instructions (blueprints, hydraulic schematics, diagrams and work instructions </li><li>Operate overhead crane, hoist, forklift, and miscellaneous air and electric hand tools and measuring instruments as required to perform repairs and maintenance. </li><li>Complete shop maintenance during down time </li><li>Enter jobs into computer system in alignment with company processes. </li><li>Communicate updates on equipment to Location Manager. </li><li>Order parts </li><li>Work in alignment with all company and OSHA safety policies </li></ul> <p>Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Ability to assemble components per drawings and/or verbal or written instructions. </li><li>Analyze, troubleshoot and diagnose all systems related to a complete vacuum system. </li><li>Perform electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical applications, </li></ul> <p>maintain a clean and safe workplace, must work in a manner deemed safe for self and others.</p> <ul> <li>Willingness to work overtime when requested. </li><li>High School diploma or equivalent. </li><li>Minimum of 2 years of mechanical assembly experience with strong mechanical </li></ul> <p>aptitude is required.
