We believe that the key to providing truly excellent health care is to partner with our patients and their families, building a system of care that is effective, affordable and valuable to everyone who is touched by it.</p> <p>The Union Hospital Radiology Department is currently recruiting for a Full-Time Flex Radiologic Technologist to work the day/evening shift.</p> <p>The successful candidate will be responsible for:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Complete knowledge and proficiency in the use of radiographic equipment</p> </li><li> <p>Developing and identifying radiographs; which includes proper identification of film, date and time</p> </li><li> <p>Performing clerical duties when necessary: receptionist and scheduling duties, completes forms on clinical, etc. and various filing duties</p> </li><li> <p>Covering the Emergency Department (ED) OR, Surgi center, Portables, Fluoro</p> </li><li> <p>Assisting with the training of radiology technology students</p> </li><li> <p>Using and performing QC on PACS, Computed Radiography, and/or Digital Radiography Systems</p> </li><li> <p>Operating the following equipment: Seimans, Phillips, and Ziehm</p> </li><li> <p>Burn patient CD's</p> </li></ul> <p>Requirements:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Associates Degree in Radiology Science</p> </li><li> <p>RT Technologist experience preferred</p> </li><li> <p>ARRT Registered Technologist required</p> </li><li> <p>Maryland license</p> </li><li> <p>Certification in CPR</p> </li><li> <p>Flexibility in hours and duties is required</p> </li></ul> <p>Christiana Care offers:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Full Medical, Dental, Vision and other insurance benefits</p> </li><li> <p>403 (b) with an employer match</p> </li><li> <p>Generous Paid Time Off</p> </li></ul> <p>Schedule: Mid shift (rotating day/evening) 12-hour shifts including weekend rotation.
