<p>Job Summary</p> <p>The Intern - Maintenance Administrator will support the Facilities team in managing building operations, maintenance activities, and infrastructure projects. This role provides hands-on exposure in facility management, preventative maintenance, work order systems (CMMS), vendor coordination, and capital project tracking within a fast-paced operational environment.</p> <p>This internship is ideal for students interested in facilities management, operations, maintenance planning, or project coordination.</p> <p>Primary Duties & Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Track and manage facility work orders, maintenance requests, and service tickets using CMMS or similar systems </li><li>Support preventative maintenance planning for building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and life safety systems </li><li>Maintain and update facility documentation, including SOPs, equipment records, and maintenance logs </li><li>Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and service providers for scheduled maintenance and repairs </li><li>Assist with capital project tracking, including schedules, documentation, and budget updates </li><li>Participate in facility inspections, audits, and walkthroughs to identify maintenance needs and ensure compliance </li><li>Support safety and regulatory documentation and inspection readiness </li><li>Track inventory of facility supplies, spare parts, and equipment </li><li>Prepare reports, dashboards, and presentations related to facility operations and projects </li><li>Provide general administrative and operational support to the Facilities team </li></ul> <p>Education & Experience</p> <p>Education Level Required:</p> <ul> <li>Pursuing or completed an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Business, Operations, or a related field </li></ul> <p>Experience:</p> <ul> <li>Exposure to CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) or project tracking tools </li><li>Experience with Excel or data tracking/reporting tools </li></ul> <p>Skills & Other Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Strong organizational and project coordination skills </li><li>Analytical thinking and problem-solving ability </li><li>Attention to detail and time management </li><li>Effective written and verbal communication </li><li>Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment </li><li>Adaptability and willingness to learn in a fast-paced setting </li></ul> <p>Internship Details</p> <ul> <li>Duration: 10-14 weeks </li><li>Hands-on experience supporting real-world facility operations and maintenance programs </li></ul> <p>Why Join Coherent?</p> <p>At Coherent, interns contribute to meaningful projects from day one.
