Our program is designed to serve students with social-emotional and academic needs who require a small, caring, structured environment in order to access their academics. Specifically, we are searching for a teacher with experience teaching functional academics, and life skills. The program is supported by two full-time school social workers, a BCBA, and many support staff to ensure a comprehensive and supportive learning environment. Our teacher-to-student ratio is approximately 1:6.</p> <p>Teaching in this private school environment offers the opportunity for autonomy and flexibility in curriculum development. At our school, teachers work closely as a team to complete IEP paperwork in a collaborative manner so all students are supported by multiple special education teachers.
