The foundation of a connected world, it's a network free of the limitations of the past, and flexible enough to satisfy all the social, economic and transformative needs of the changing world.</p> <p>Job Duties and Responsibilities</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Lead the end-to-end lifecycle of AI/ML initiatives focused on enhancing RAN performance, including use case definition, solution design, modeling, and deployment in live networks. </li><li>Develop frameworks that enable automated network decision-making, including dynamic resource allocation, anomaly detection, and predictive planning. </li><li>Translate high-level business and technical requirements into actionable engineering roadmaps with clear success metrics and deliverables </li><li>Ensure operational readiness for AI solutions, including testing, validation, monitoring, and maintenance procedures that support large-scale deployment. </li><li>Stay informed on emerging technologies in AI/ML, network virtualization, and RAN architectures, and provide strategic input to guide innovation. </li><li>Act as a thought leader and mentor within the organization, helping elevate AI literacy and engineering rigor across teams. </li><li>Foster partnerships to drive innovation and automation in network design, deployment, and optimization </li><li>Enable data analytics and AI/ML models for the network monitoring, operations and assurance </li><li>Automate repetitive tasks through scripting and leveraging AI automated workflows. </li></ul> <p>Skills, Experience and Requirements</p> <p>Education and Experience:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's or master's degree in a technical discipline (computer science or electrical engineering degree preferred) </li><li>7+ years of experience working within the wireless industry </li></ul> <p>Skills and Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Familiarity with Wireless network architecture technologies, concepts, and industry standards </li><li>Proven track record in assessing and deploying AI technologies across RAN systems. </li><li>Experience deploying and managing SON platforms. </li><li>Strong understanding and practical knowledge of AI-RANI, RIC architectures and rApp development. </li><li>Experience in RF Design or Optimization in a multi-technology network environment </li><li>Skilled in RF optimization, network automation, and optimization processes and tools </li><li>Experience with Cloud Deployments. </li><li>Knowhow in RAN Performance Metrics </li><li>Experience coding in Python </li><li>Familiarity with AI/ML models and data science projects </li></ul> <p>Salary Ranges</p> <p>Compensation: $96,250.00/Year - $137,500.00/Year</p> <p>Benefits</p> <p>We offer versatile health perks, including flexible spending accounts, HSA, a 401(k) Plan with company match, ESPP, career opportunities, and a flexible time away plan; all benefits can be viewed here: DISH Benefits.</p> <p>The base pay range shown is a guideline.
