<p>The Senior Manager, Merchandise - Wholesale is responsible for driving global business growth by developing product assortments across Partner Operated and Wholesale channels that align with the company's omnichannel strategies and support overall financial and brand objectives. Overseeing a broad portfolio of domestic and international wholesale businesses, this leader maintains the strength of existing categories, identifies strategic expansion opportunities, and enhances the guest experience through curated, high-impact assortments.</p> <p>Grounded in strong marketplace awareness and cross-functional partnership, the Senior Manager ensures product strategies advance organizational goals, foster innovation, and elevate the brand. Through strategic planning, disciplined execution, and close collaboration across the organization, this role drives key initiatives that support long-term business performance. Additionally, the Senior Manager leads and develops their team to successfully execute these strategies and deliver sustained results and guest satisfaction.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive merchandise strategy across global businesses. </li><li>Establish financial strategies that drive profitability through strong product lifecycle management and margin achievement. </li><li>Create and manage product assortments that identify growth opportunities, elevate product standards, and strengthen margin performance across core categories. </li><li>Build strong internal and external partnerships to align buying strategies and inventory plans, ensuring optimal order quantities that support demand and deliver sustainable growth. </li><li>Analyze top-selling products and marketing impact to drive initiatives that support business plans and optimize performance. </li><li>Evaluate sales and market trends to anticipate future opportunities, guide buying decisions, and fuel innovation. </li><li>Deliver clear, persuasive presentations to key stakeholders, inspiring alignment and support. </li><li>Stay fluent in industry trends and emerging technologies to drive continuous innovation and maintain a competitive edge. </li><li>Build, mentor, and develop a high-performing, engaged team. </li></ul> <p>Required Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree </li><li>6-8 years of buying/merchant experience across wholesale and or international markets </li><li>Experience leading a team of merchants/buyers </li><li>Expert data analysis </li><li>Skilled in Excel </li><li>Skilled in Microsoft 365 </li><li>Proficient in PLM Systems </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>10+ years of Merchant experience across wholesale and/or international markets </li><li>Master's Degree </li><li>In-depth knowledge of retail merchandising, procurement, or category management </li></ul> <p>Behavioral Traits for Success:</p> <ul> <li>Driven to achieve results that align with the strategic goals of the organization </li><li>Initiative, sense of urgency, and the ability to stay focused on results despite changing conditions </li><li>Analytical approach to decisions </li><li>Ability to purposely drive toward results while problem-solving and engaging the commitment of others </li><li>A leadership style that is goal-oriented yet motivates, trains, and engages others </li><li>Learns quickly and thoroughly </li><li>Effective delegation </li><li>Willingly accepts accountability for results </li></ul> <p>Working Environment:</p> <ul> <li>Typical office environment with climate control and sufficient lighting, ergonomic desk/chairs </li><li>Corporate Office located in St. Louis, MO </li><li>10% domestic travel </li><li>Flexible work schedule </li></ul> <p>Your Performance Will Be Measured On:</p> <ul> <li>Effectiveness of your team </li><li>Product assortment, pricing, procurement, and product life cycle management </li><li>Effective omnichannel management </li><li>Decision-making and judgment </li><li>Execution of the strategic initiatives </li><li>Quality of recommendations based on raw data and analytics </li><li>Financial planning and goal achievement </li><li>Effectiveness and impact of presentations and active participation in meetings </li><li>Ability to secure internal support and product adoption </li><li>Strength of cross-functional collaboration </li><li>Responsiveness </li><li>Stakeholder Feedback </li></ul>
