<p>Overview</p> <p>As Business Development Manager, you will partner with sales and cross-functional leadership to complete market analyses, create a territory strategy and generate overall referral growth and volume. Make daily calls to referral sources to coordinate and executes sales, drive growth via all channels, and conduct networking/educational events. In addition, you will assist leadership in coaching, mentoring and onboarding Business Development Associates.</p> <p>This is a territory field sales position.</p> <p>Territory includes Detroit, Michigan and surrounding metropolitan area including Troy, Livonia, MI.</p> <ul> <li>Local and regional travel required. </li></ul> <p>What you bring to be successful:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Degree or equivalent in exercise science/ physiology, sports/performance training, kinesiology.</p> </li><li> <p>Healthcare sales experience or related service experience (wellness, athletic training, PTA, etc).</p> </li><li> <p>Book of business/call contacts with healthcare referral sources including physicians, nurse case managers, hospitals, etc.</p> </li></ul> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li> <p>Articulate ATI value proposition and differentiators</p> </li><li> <p>Develop, maintain and strengthen relationships with internal and external stakeholders to create long-lasting business partnerships</p> </li><li> <p>Use Salesforce, MS Office and other systems and tools to create opportunities to drive incremental growth</p> </li><li> <p>Use influential strategies to achieve goals while anticipating and addressing others' needs</p> </li><li> <p>Provide market intelligence</p> </li><li> <p>Build organizational alliances and partnerships to drive results.</p> </li><li> <p>Coach and further develop Business Development Associate team members</p> </li><li> <p>Achieve quarterly sales quota</p> </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>Required Education:</p> <ul> <li>Associates Degree or equivalent in exercise science/ physiology, sports/performance training, kinesiology </li></ul> <p>Preferred Education:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's Degree strongly preferred </li></ul> <p>Required Experience:</p> <ul> <li>3+ yearssales or healthcare experience or related experience (wellness, athletic training, PTA, etc). </li></ul> <p>Preferred Experience:</p> <ul> <li>Healthcare sales, service experience </li></ul> <p>Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Support and execute a sales plan based on data</p> </li><li> <p>Build rapport and create relationships with decision makers</p> </li><li> <p>Time management and organization</p> </li><li> <p>Prospect new opportunities</p> </li><li> <p>Sell benefits and value proposition</p> </li><li> <p>Build and pitch solutions</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to negotiate</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to achieve quota</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to retain customers</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to mentor and coach peers</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to collaborate cross-functionally</p> </li><li> <p>Local & regional travel required</p> </li></ul> <p>License/Certificate:</p> <ul> <li>Maintain a valid driver's license </li></ul> <p>Virtual Employee?</p> <p>No</p> <p>Location/Org Data : Dept Number</p> <p>8606</p> <p>ReqID <em>2026-28339</em></p> <p>Job Locations <em>US-MI-Detroit</em></p> <p>Job Category <em>Corporate - Sales</em></p> <p>Pay Class <em>Full Time</em></p>
