You will also be expected to complete all assigned compliance training in a timely manner.</p> <p>Essential Duties and Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Possesses a working knowledge of investment management. </li><li>Prepares and maintains data on current and prospective investments. </li><li>Maintains a current body of knowledge of economic trends and conditions. </li><li>Maintains familiarity with fiduciary principals and prudent investing concepts. </li><li>Participates in the preparation and presentation of reports to existing clients and new business proposals. </li><li>Other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Education and/or Experience:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in business and/or finance or related discipline required. </li><li>Minimum of three years of Portfolio Management experience with a Trust Department or Asset Management Company preferred. </li></ul> <p>Other Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Knowledge of fixed income securities and their inclusion in an investment portfolio. </li><li>Proficiency in mathematics, accounting, finance, and economics. </li><li>Strong business development tools. </li></ul> <p>Other Skills and Abilities:</p> <ul> <li>Strong written and verbal communication skills </li><li>Skills in relevant information technology to support portfolio management and business development responsibilities. </li><li>Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from prospective and existing clients as well as internal employees. </li></ul> <p>Mathematical Skills:</p> <p>Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.</p> <p>Reasoning Ability</p> <p>Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.</p> <p>Physical Demands:</p> <p>The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
