This role will solve problems, find new solutions, and build systems that fix things and reach goals for cost and quality.</p> <p>Automatic Transmision - PD System Engineer</p> <p>What you'll do...</p> <ul> <li>Responsibility for multiple automatic transmission and overall program delivery (function, timing, cost, quality). </li><li>Responsible to lead system issue resolution getting to optimum enterprise solution balancing attributes of several cross-functional activities including weight, cost and durability. </li><li>Ability to resolve complex technical issues during launch and warranty. </li><li>Responsible to Lead on high time warranty issue resolution related to mechanical and hydraulic design related issues. </li><li>Manage warranty report out and manage cross functional issues with component team. </li><li>Manage program deliverables, system engineering responsibilities working with various stakeholders. </li><li>Identify investment and contribution cost opportunities via internal benchmarking and global leverage and optimize manufacturing footprint on cost and flexibility.
