We believe our success starts with our team and is amplified by our ambition, ingenuity, and continuous investment in our most valuable asset, our people.</p> <p>Under the direct supervision of a mentor, you will assist the weld department by performing the following duties:</p> <ul> <li>Reads and understands American and European blue prints, geometric tolerances, and weld symbols </li><li>Properly sets up and operates Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW) and Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW) power sources to weld metal components together </li><li>Sets the appropriate wire feed speed, voltage, trim, and amperes for welding vertically, horizontally, and overhead </li><li>Selects the appropriate wire, shielding gas, tungsten, contact tips, and diffusers to weld on carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum </li><li>Sets the appropriate feed rates and properly positions parts to operate the horizontal and vertical saws </li><li>Uses the proper grinding and buffing pads for grinding on carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum </li><li>Inspects parts using height gauges, calipers, and tape measures and records the dimensional data on the inspection sheet </li></ul> <p>Education</p> <p>High School Junior or Senior enrolled in a related Tech Ed class.</p> <p>Are you ready to learn a new trade and work with some pretty awesome people?
