<p>The Healthy Homes Unit oversees operationalizing environmental hazard compliance efforts. The Office of Mold Assessment and Remediation is responsible for managing mold assessment and remediation contracts, ventilation modernization contracts, performance management, providing quality assurance, and technical assistance to support Public Housing Operations for mold remediation at the New York City Housing Authority (NYCHA). NYCHA is the nation's largest public housing provider and is home to more than 400,000 residents across New York's 5 boroughs.</p> <p>The Court Case Coordinator Supervisor will be a member of the Mold Remediation Unit of the Office of Mold Assessment and Remediation collaborating with NYCHA's legal team on sensitive court cases involving needed repairs. The Court Case Coordinator Supervisor is responsible for overseeing a team of 10 Court Case Coordinators, providing training and guidance in case managing, coordinating, facilitating, and streamlining court-ordered repairs. The Court Case Coordinator Supervisor will be expected to independently conduct unit history reports, monitor workflow progress to ensure repairs are completed promptly, identify, and communicate roadblocks, liaise with Property Management staff, provide routine updates to legal, and communicate with residents throughout the repair process.</p> <p>The responsibilities of the Court Case Coordinator will include, but are not limited to, the following:</p> <ol> <li> <p>Manage and support a team of 10 Court Case Coordinators.</p> </li><li> <p>Provide training for new hires.</p> </li><li> <p>Present to various NYCHA departments during project rollout.</p> </li><li> <p>Participate in project planning.</p> </li><li> <p>Enhance and implement procedural changes.</p> </li><li> <p>Evaluate team performance and provide feedback.</p> </li><li> <p>Case-manage sensitive court cases.</p> </li><li> <p>Serve as a follow-up function to assist NYCHA's legal team on court cases with property management staff.</p> </li><li> <p>Attend court as needed.</p> </li><li> <p>Run unit history reports in Maximo and Tableau.</p> </li><li> <p>Coordinate and communicate with various NYCHA departments to ensure court cases are progressing promptly.</p> </li><li> <p>Follow-up with Legal in real time if anything on the stipulation is unclear.</p> </li><li> <p>Facilitate resident communication.</p> </li><li> <p>Document efforts and updates on the Zendesk platform.</p> </li><li> <p>Conduct periodic site visits to developments.</p> </li><li> <p>Escalate delays and any discoveries that may cause potential delays in real time.</p> </li></ol> <p>Additional Information</p> <ol> <li> <p>NYCHA employees applying for transfer, promotional, title or level change opportunities must have served a period of one year at current location and in current title and level (if applicable).</p> </li><li> <p>NYCHA residents are encouraged to apply.</p> </li><li> <p>NYCHA provides benefits that include a choice of medical coverage plans, deferred compensation plans and a defined pension benefit plan as a member of the New York City Employees' Retirement System (NYCERS).</p> </li></ol> <p>Please read this posting carefully to make certain you meet the minimum qualification requirements before applying to this position.</p> <p>COMMUNITY COORDINATOR - 56058</p> <p>Minimum Qualifications</p> <ol> <li> <p>A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college and two years of experience in community work or community centered activities in an area related to the duties described above; or</p> </li><li> <p>High school graduation or equivalent and six years of experience in community work or community centered activities in an area related to the duties as described above; or</p> </li><li> <p>Education and/or experience which is equivalent to "1" or "2" above. However, all candidates must have at least one year of experience as described in "1" above.</p> </li></ol> <p>Preferred Skills</p> <ol> <li>Familiarity with any of the following: Microsoft Offices, Zendesk. 2. Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and effectively. 3. Knowledge of property management operations, processes, and structure. 4. Ability to work in a high-volume and high-pressure environment. 5.
