<ul> <li>Install, service and maintain HVAC systems in residential, academic, laboratory settings and commercial properties. </li><li>Perform routine maintenance and service work on compressors, pumps, exhaust fans, air handlers, boilers, steam condensate systems, chillers, and computer room air conditioners. </li><li>Replace motors, belts, pumps, filters, bearings, shafts and adjust drivers as needed. </li><li>Maintain cooling towers. </li><li>Troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems on both routine and emergency basis. </li><li>Troubleshoot and repair HVAC control systems including chillers, boilers, packaged roof tops, AHUs, VAVs, FCUs, FPBs, etc. </li><li>Measure air and water flows and make adjustments. </li><li>Ability to follow and complete work orders and preventative maintenance duties and provide updates on work order status. </li><li>Ability to work efficiently, productively, and with minimal supervision for the benefit of the University community. </li><li>Follow safety precautions with appropriate PPE, providing an environment for personal and public safety. </li><li>Maintain a clean work site and area that minimally interferes with university operations. </li><li>Perform all other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Required Skills</p> <p>We are an equal opportunity employer, and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, natural or protective hairstyle, religion, sex, age, national origin, physical or mental disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, genetic information, military service, pregnancy or pregnancy-related condition, or because of marital, parental, or veteran status.
