We aim to hire individuals who are ready and committed to exceed the expectation of every guest by genuinely creating lasting memories, maintaining a positive attitude and by providing outstanding service every time.</p> <p>BASIC FUNCTION: The Engineer will assist leadership and guests with maintenance requests, identify problems and perform various room preventative maintenance tasks.QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, TRAINING, & WORK EXPERIENCE</p> <p>High school diploma or equivalent.</p> <p>One year experience in a similar job in the hospitality industry preferred.</p> <p>Ability to use hand tools.</p> <p>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:</p> <p>Resolve guests' maintenance problems and handle all guest requests.</p> <p>Perform simple preventative maintenance tasks in all guestrooms and other resort areas (i.e. change filters, replace light bulbs, repair drapery tracks.)</p> <p>Complete and/or document basic work order requests.</p> <p>Perform swimming pool chemical tests and make necessary corrections, with training.</p> <p>Basic knowledge of EMS and life safety systems, with training.</p> <p>Accurately complete daily rounds sheets and identify and report major problems.</p> <p>MARGINAL FUNCTIONS:</p> <p>Effectively interact with people of diverse socioeconomic, cultural, disability, and ethnic backgrounds</p> <p>Required to perform other tasks and duties as assigned.</p> <p>Scheduled hours may vary on business needs and may or may not include holidays, weekends, various shifts, overtime or reduced hours.</p> <p>Maintain professional working relationship with Grounds team</p> <p>ENVIRONMENT: Works in all areas of the property, both indoors and outdoors possible in inclement weather.
