<p>Position Summary</p> <p>The Wildlife Management Program staff stationed at the Richard Bong Recreation Area will be hiring 4 Limited Term Employees (LTE) to assist with pheasant stocking on the Richard Bong Recreation Area. The employment period is from approximately September 22 - December 28, 2025, and will include weekend work. Work schedule is from 12:00pm to 4pm- 20 hours/week.</p> <p>(90%) Help with the care and stocking of penned pheasants (e.g., stocking, feeding, watering, cutting trees for cover, etc.) & general maintenance and upkeep of the pens (e.g., checking for holes, predator control, etc.) at the Richard Bong State Recreation Area (RBSRA).</p> <p>(5%) - Participate in CWD monitoring program. Help with picking up samples from; supplying; and maintaining CWD kiosks in Racine and Kenosha Counties. Some sampling of tissue from deer heads.</p> <p>(5%)- Perform habitat management activities as part of the managed hunt program on Richard Bong Rec. Area including tree girdling, brush removal, chain saw use, and other assigned tasks.</p> <p>Salary Information</p> <p>These positions pay between $12.00-14.00 per hour and is in pay schedule and range 03-08. Has resided in this state for not less than a total of one year out of the immediately preceding 5 years;</p> <p>c. Is eligible to register to vote in this state; or</p> <p>d.
