<p>Join our dynamic Student Success Center team as a Student Outcomes Specialist, where you'll play a key role in helping students achieve their academic and career goals. In this role, you'll collect, verify, and maintain accurate outcome data while building strong connections with graduates, withdrawals, and leavers to support reengagement efforts.</p> <p>You'll collaborate across departments to track completion, placement, and licensure success, using case management strategies to identify trends and drive outreach initiatives that strengthen student retention, career readiness, and employment outcomes. You'll also have the opportunity to support employer engagement, manage job board postings, and assist with career services activities like student workshops and job preparation.</p> <p>If you're passionate about helping students succeed and thrive in a supportive, student-centered environment, we'd love to have you join us!</p> <p>This position reports to the Student Success Center Coordinator.</p> <ul> <li>Collects, verifies, and maintains student outcome data for accreditation, compliance, and institutional reporting. </li><li>Tracks and compiles data related to completion, placement, licensure, industry certifications, and skill attainment. </li><li>Reviews and refines data collection processes to ensure accuracy and alignment with reporting requirements. </li><li>Conducts targeted follow-up with graduates, withdrawals, students without a schedule, and leavers without a certificate. </li><li>Assist with the development of reengagement strategies to support student retention and program completion. </li><li>Utilizes case management approaches to track and document student progress. </li><li>Works closely with internal teams, including the Student Success Center, Instructional Programs, and Student Services teams, to enhance student tracking and placement efforts. </li><li>Works closely with the College Foundation to connect students with resources needed to return to school. </li><li>Contacts external organizations such as area employers, the Department of Workforce Services (DWS), and other community sponsors to identify student placement and support opportunities, as needed. </li><li>Provides periodic training to faculty and staff on student outcome collection and reporting. </li><li>Supports Student Success Center initiatives by cultivating relationships with local employers and helping to maintain job board postings. </li><li>Assists with student workshops, resume and interview coaching, and other basic career development activities. </li><li>Contributes to outreach and marketing efforts aimed at engaging former students and promoting employment opportunities. </li><li>Reviews and updates outcome reporting processes annually to align with best practices. </li><li>Serves on college teams, as assigned. </li><li>Performs other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Education and Experience Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma required. </li><li>Two (2) years of experience in case management, data management, student services, career placement services, records management, or experience in a related field. </li><li>Proficiency and accuracy in the collection and verification of data. </li><li>Ability to develop effective, collaborative relationships. </li><li>Exceptional judgement, problem solving, communication, and interpersonal skills. </li><li>Ability to organize resources and establish priorities. </li><li>Demonstrated customer service skills in highly interactive service environments. </li><li>Ability to critically analyze processes and enhance efficiency and effectiveness. </li><li>Ability to work under pressure with high expectations and deadlines. </li><li>Working knowledge of Microsoft office software applications. </li><li>Spanish speaking proficiency desirable. </li></ul> <p>Physical Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Typically, the employee may sit comfortably to perform work; however, there maybe some walking; standing; bending; carrying light items; driving an automobile, etc. Special physical demands are not required to perform the work. </li><li>Risks found in the typical office setting, which is adequately lighted, heated, and ventilated, e.g., safe use of office equipment, avoiding trips and falls, observing fire regulations, etc. </li></ul> <p>Work Hours: Monday - Friday: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM</p> <p>CONDITIONAL OFFER: A conditional offer of employment will be made pending satisfactory completion of a background investigation.</p> <p>Ogden-Weber Technical College is committed to equal employment opportunity regardless of race, color, ancestry, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, age, citizenship, marital status, disability, gender identity or expressions, Veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by state or federal laws.</p> <p>AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER</p>
