As a Route Optimizer, you'll be the behind-the-scenes force that ensures our vending and refreshment routes run smoothly, efficiently, and profitably.</p> <p>What You'll Do:</p> <p>As a critical member of our operations team, you'll:</p> <ul> <li>Analyze daily route performance to spot improvement opportunities </li><li>Schedule efficient vending and refreshment service routes to maximize productivity and customer satisfaction </li><li>Monitor fleet vehicle compliance and GPS tracking systems (Azuga) to ensure route adherence </li><li>Troubleshoot and coordinate maintenance for card reader issues and vending machine operations </li><li>Optimize product quantities and par levels to reduce waste and manage inventory </li><li>Maintain route accountability for cash handling and product over/short discrepancies </li><li>Conduct weekly truck inventories and oversee accurate asset tracking </li><li>Approve sandwich menus based on customer preferences and stock levels </li><li>Lead monthly CHAT meetings to review route performance and drive improvements </li><li>Support the onboarding process by training new operations team members </li><li>Adjust changer usage and monitor cloud compliance for vending systems </li><li>Follow up on compliance reports and inspections to ensure standards are met </li></ul> <p>What You Bring to the Table:</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred </li><li>Experience in logistics, route planning, or operations (vending or field service experience a plus) </li><li>Analytical mindset and strong attention to detail </li><li>Familiarity with fleet management systems and route planning software </li><li>Solid Excel and Microsoft Office skills </li><li>Excellent communication and time-management abilities </li><li>Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment </li></ul> <p>What We Offer:</p> <ul> <li>Paid Time Off: 2 weeks of paid vacation, plus 7 paid holidays </li><li>Health Benefits: Medical, dental, and vision insurance for you and your family </li><li>Retirement Savings: 401(k) with company match </li><li>A collaborative, supportive team environment with growth potential </li><li>The opportunity to help shape one of the nation's top breakroom service providers </li></ul> <p>About Five Star Breaktime Solutions:</p> <p>We're one of the largest on-site food and beverage service providers in the country, offering custom solutions like micro-markets, vending, office coffee, filtered water, catering, and more.
