Candidate must have strong expertise in Linux administration with required hands-on experience in kernel-level debugging and performance tuning.</p> <p>Rate Range: $56/hour to $59/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.</p> <p>Sr. Linux Administrator job responsibilities include:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Oversee management and troubleshooting of Linux services including DNS, NIS, LDAP, Altair Accelerator, and IBM LSF.</p> </li><li> <p>Execute kernel-level debugging, patching, and performance tuning for optimized system performance.</p> </li><li> <p>Automate routine operational tasks using Ansible, Python, and shell scripting to improve efficiency.</p> </li><li> <p>Ensure secure system environments aligned with CISSP best practices and organizational standards.</p> </li><li> <p>Partner with cloud and storage teams to support and maintain hybrid deployment environments.</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain clear documentation and version control for installed software and operational procedures.</p> </li></ul> <p>Required Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Candidate must have a bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related technical field.</p> </li><li> <p>6-8 years of hands-on Linux/Unix administration experience.</p> </li><li> <p>Required strong experience managing Linux services including DNS, NIS, LDAP, Altair Accelerator, and IBM LSF.</p> </li><li> <p>Required hands-on expertise in automation using Ansible, Python, and shell scripting.</p> </li></ul> <p>If you are interested in this role, then please click APPLY NOW.
