<p>Position Summary:</p> <p>To be an active student and on the dietary team to provide the best food service for patients, employees, and staff</p> <p>Education, License & Cert:</p> <p>Must currently be sixteen years of age. Must also can read and write and be able to understand written and oral communication</p> <p>Experience:</p> <p>Some experience desirable but not necessary.</p> <p>Essential Functions:</p> <ol> <li>Performs the functions of Dietary Student Aide according to department Policy and Procedure. </li></ol> <p>a. Prepares assembly line station for patient supper tray service in a timely manner.</p> <p>b. Assembles food items for supper patient tray service according to marked menus.</p> <p>c. Transports supper food carts to and from designated areas on patient floors in a safe and timely manner.</p> <p>d. Collects all garbage in Dietary and Cafeteria areas and transports to compactor/incinerator in a timely manner.</p> <p>e. Scrapes and washes all dishware from patient trays and employee cafeteria according to department sanitation procedures.</p> <p>f. Scrubs and sanitizes all pots and pans and organizes in designated area.</p> <p>g. Utilizes proper body mechanics to prevent injuries.</p> <p>h.
