Shifts are assigned during orientation and will likely be 9a-5:30p.</p> <p>A caregiver who excels in this role will:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Provide nursing care in an operative setting to patients undergoing surgical or invasive procedures.</p> </li><li> <p>Perform scrub and circulating functions.</p> </li><li> <p>Prepare the OR, surgical instruments and equipment for use.</p> </li></ul> <p>Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing (Diploma, ADN or BSN program)</p> </li><li> <p>Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)</p> </li><li> <p>Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross</p> </li><li> <p>If performing moderate/procedural sedation must have Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) through American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Card (within 6 months of hire)</p> </li><li> <p>One year of RN experience OR completion of Cleveland Clinic's Perioperative Residency Program</p> </li></ul> <p>Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) </li></ul> <p>Physical Requirements:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Requires full range of body motion including handling and lifting patients, manual and finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination. Requires standing and walking for extensive periods of time.</p> </li><li> <p>Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.</p> </li><li> <p>Physical Demand requirements are in excess of those for Light Work.</p> </li><li> <p>Occasionally lifts and carries items weighing up to 25 pounds and ability to push, pull, and navigate supply carts weighing > than 75 pounds periodically.</p> </li></ul> <p>Personal Protective Equipment:</p> <ul> <li>Follows Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required for procedures. </li></ul> <p>Pay Range</p> <p>Minimum hourly: $35.50</p> <p>Maximum hourly: $55.60</p> <p>The pay range displayed on this job posting reflects the anticipated range for new hires.
