<p>Position Summary</p> <p>ColdSnap is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Accounting Manager to oversee financial operations while ensuring the smooth running of our headquarters. This role is ideal for a hands-on professional who thrives in a startup environment, balancing accounting rigor with day-to-day administration.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Manage all accounting operations including A/R, A/P, G/L, Treasury, bank reconciliations, expense reporting, and month-end close </li><li>Ensure GL accounts are properly supported and reconciled monthly </li><li>Maintain the company's system of accounts and records on all company transactions and assets </li><li>Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis </li><li>Assist in budget preparation, forecasting, and cash flow management </li><li>Oversee and improve internal financial controls and reporting systems </li><li>Coordinate with external accountants for audits, corporate income tax filings, and compliance </li><li>Support inventory accounting and cost tracking for manufacturing </li><li>Track capital expenditures and fixed asset depreciation </li><li>Manage and maintain business insurance policies </li><li>Ensure sales tax and use tax compliance across jurisdictions </li><li>Prepare and file other annual tax filings, such as 1099, 3921, and franchise taxes </li><li>Payroll experience for back-up to HR </li><li>Other ad-hoc reporting as requested </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred) </li><li>5+ years of accounting experience, ideally in a manufacturing or startup environment </li><li>Must have prior people management experience </li><li>Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting </li><li>Proficiency in Excel and ERP systems (Acumatica, NetSuite experience a plus) </li><li>Excellent organizational, communication, and multitasking skills </li><li>Strong written and verbal communication skills </li><li>Able/comfortable communicating across the organization </li><li>Strong attention to detail, well-organized, solution-oriented </li><li>Startup or high-growth company experience preferred </li></ul> <p>About Us:</p> <p>ColdSnap is a new, platform technology, that freezes single servings of ice creams, coffee lattes, smoothies, protein shakes, and cocktails on demand using shelf stable-pods filled with premium liquid ingredients.
