<p>JOB SUMMARY</p> <p>The Material Handler is responsible for maintaining the flow of raw materials, recyclables and scrap movement on the production floor. Responsible for supporting the compliance with quality standards, GMP, facility sanitary conditions, production efficiencies and yields during shift. Responsible to maintain efficient production by supplying essential materials to each line.</p> <p>JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES</p> <ul> <li>Support and adhere to all system procedures and company policies / procedures. </li><li>Arrive 15 minutes before start of shift in order to communicate with previous shift. </li><li>Operating and maintaining all types of heavy equipment </li><li>Read activity board for scheduled color changes, conversions and set-ups. </li><li>Responsible for picking up and returning material. </li><li>Supply production area with raw materials. </li><li>Maintain accuracy of raw materials inventory. </li><li>Operation of hand-held bar code equipment. </li><li>Operation of forklift trucks </li><li>Ability to multi-task and execute time management. </li><li>Support and adhere to all system procedures and company policies and procedures. </li><li>Maintain a clean and safe work environment. Follow all safety regulations. </li><li>When necessary, operate emergency stops on closing machines, grinders, auxiliary equipment and understand lock out/tag out procedure. </li><li>Ability to run machines adequately for the relief of Operator/Inspectors for breaks, and/or rest. </li><li>Ability to adequately preform inspections for the substitution of Inspectors when lack of. </li><li>Required to run production lines as needed </li><li>Perform other related duties assigned. </li></ul>
