<p>Description</p> <p>Job Title: Associate Project Manager</p> <p>Duration: 12 months contract (Possible Extension)</p> <p>Location: Arlington, TN</p> <p>Job Summary:</p> <p>Assist in management of multiple engineering projects; prioritize tasks and assign team members to ensure that the team's overall resources are used effectively and that project deadlines are met. Evaluate and authorize changes that significantly impact the scope, budget, or timeline of a project. Lead engineering projects; monitor progress and performance against the project plan; identify and resolve operational problems and minimize delays. Manage ongoing relationships with external contractors so that the organization receives satisfactory standards of service.</p> <ul> <li>Work with cross-functional teams to help deliver successful products to market. </li><li>Create, manage, and publish project plans and associated documentation. </li><li>Manage project risk, scope, schedule, and resource alignment to ensure predictable product shipment. </li><li>Partner with and motivate cross-functional teams to take action and drive projects to completion. </li><li>Exhibit excellent judgment on sensitive, complex, and cross-functional issues, fostering collaboration between leaders, sub-teams, and general stakeholders. </li></ul> <p>Requirements:</p> <p>Basic Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Self-motivated learner who enjoys working with new tools and learning new systems </li><li>Ability to drive collaboration and deliver high-quality, complex projects across teams </li><li>Solution oriented with ability to drive toward actionable results </li><li>Excellent oral and written communication skills </li><li>Resourceful, detail-oriented, and highly organized problem solver </li></ul> <p>Education/Experience/Knowledge:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree or equivalent. </li><li>Minimum of two (2) years of Project Management experience </li><li>Previous experience working in a manufacturing setting is required </li><li>Familiarity and skill with interpreting technical drawings and blueprints. </li><li>Knowledge on various precision CNC Machinery and principles, fabrication and machining practices. </li><li>Experience using Microsoft Office Suite, MS Project in a business/professional capacity </li></ul> <p>About Matlen Silver</p> <p>Experience Matters.
