It is our expectation that each employee will offer his/her services wherever and whenever necessary to ensure the success of our endeavors.</p> <p>Summary: A Warehouse Associate with a CDL is needed for a full-time position with Omega Morgan. This position will be responsible for helping around the warehouse with general warehouse duties and driving a semi-truck to transport freight when needed.</p> <p>Essential Duties and Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Load/unload freight as needed </li><li>Tag freight in/out </li><li>Drive truck and transport freight and equipment as needed </li><li>Receive products into the warehouse and place them into the inventory management system (WMS) </li><li>Unload trucks using a pallet jack and forklift safely and efficiently </li><li>Operate a forklift (will train if needed) </li><li>Gather and maintain all data relative to receiving and delivery activities </li><li>Inventory existing warehouse items, input into WMS </li><li>Adhere to strict safety protocol/requirements </li><li>Perform additional duties as required and/or requested </li><li>On-call for emergencies and weekends as needed </li><li>Performs other duties as assigned by the Manager </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Must hold a current Class A CDL </li><li>Computer and internet literacy, including familiarity with Excel spreadsheets, Calendar, and Outlook Mail </li><li>Ability to work collaboratively with others as well as independently </li><li>Good communication skills and the ability to pay attention to details </li><li>Ability to move efficiently in a fast-paced environment and while maintaining quality and accuracy </li><li>Ability to work positively in a fast-paced, team environment </li><li>Maintain your forklift certification </li></ul> <p>Required Experience and/or Education...</p> <ul> <li>2 Years of driving truck </li><li>Valid Oregon Class A CDL with a safe driving history </li><li>Ability to work on your feet for the majority of your shift </li><li>Must be able to lift 50 lbs unassisted </li><li>Must be able to pass pre-employment background and drug screen </li><li>Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures </li><li>Organized and ability to work independently & as a team </li><li>Effective time management skills </li><li>High School Education preferred </li><li>1-2 years of Warehouse experience preferred </li><li>1-2 years of Forklift operating experience preferred but not required </li></ul>
