<p>Job Title: RF TechnicianJob Description</p> <p>The RF Technician will be responsible for advanced RF testing and troubleshooting, working under minimal supervision from a Test Supervisor. The role involves testing, troubleshooting, and repairing products and returned units at the component level. The technician will report to the Customer Service Department.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Test, calibrate, troubleshoot, and repair new products using test procedures, schematics, wiring diagrams, and instruction manuals. </li><li>Test, calibrate, troubleshoot, and repair returned products from customers using the same procedures and manuals. </li><li>Maintain a clean and orderly work area. </li></ul> <p>Essential Skills</p> <ul> <li>Experience with RF, testing, troubleshooting, and component level work. </li><li>Proficiency with testing equipment such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, and other laboratory test equipment. </li><li>Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. </li><li>Ability to read and understand electronic specifications, schematics, and layouts. </li></ul> <p>Additional Skills & Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Minimum 2-year degree. </li><li>Experience programming microcontrollers is preferred but not required. </li><li>Avionic or military background is a plus. </li></ul> <p>Work Environment</p> <p>The candidate will be part of a team of two, working at a bench all day troubleshooting PCBs. The work requires comfort with sitting in a chair at a bench throughout the day. The team is currently supporting a large-scale project involving the assembly and release of 25,000 handheld test units.</p> <p>Job Type & Location</p> <p>This is a Contract to Hire position based out of East Rutherford, NJ.</p> <p>Pay and Benefits</p> <p>The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.</p> <p>Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
