We are growing rapidly and looking for high performers at every level to grow with us.</p> <p>POSITION SUMMARY:</p> <p>The Fitness Team Member provides support for day-to-day operations and fitness programing. The Fitness Team Member is expected to provide world-class customer service to all members and guests and has a thorough working knowledge of all fitness programs and offerings.</p> <p>PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:</p> <ul> <li>Ensure facility users adhere to Paradise Coast Sports Complex guidelines to provide a safe atmosphere for users and protect the facility from property damage </li><li>Monitor the use of all equipment in the Fitness Center </li><li>Report any equipment defects to the Fitness Coordinator or other members of the managerial staff </li><li>Carry out standard upkeep of equipment and make certain they are safe to use </li><li>Monitor fitness center floor to ensure equipment remains in the facility and report any unaccounted-for equipment </li><li>Frequently replenish supplies in facility, disinfectant wipes, paper towels, etc. </li><li>Make sure all weights, dumbbells, bands, clips, etc. are safely and appropriately stored </li><li>Encourage guests to wipe down equipment with disinfectant at the conclusion of usage </li><li>Clean equipment with disinfectant spray upon patron completion, or as instructed by the Fitness Coordinator </li><li>General maintenance checks of gym equipment, facilities and other fitness center equipment </li><li>Make note of general maintenance or small items for repair purposes </li><li>Vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and other necessary tasks to be performed as needed during each shift </li><li>Cleaning of group exercise facilities and all equipment used </li><li>Set up and tear down of equipment for the respective group exercise classes offered at Paradise Coast Sports Complex </li><li>Assist with facility and equipment closeout procedures as needed during each shift </li><li>Complete new sign-ups and membership renewals </li><li>Perform all other duties as assigned by Managers on Duty </li></ul> <p>MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:</p> <ul> <li>Must be at least 16 years old or older </li><li>Personal/group training certified </li><li>Experience in a fitness/gym setting (preferred) </li><li>Flexible work schedule (e.g., nights, weekends, holidays, and long hours) and regular attendance necessary </li><li>Must have excellent guest service skills </li><li>Must work well in a team environment </li></ul> <p>WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:</p> <ul> <li>Must be able to lift 40 pounds waist high </li><li>Will be required to stand for extended periods of time </li><li>Must have a flexible schedule (mornings, nights, weekends, holidays, etc.) </li><li>Facility has intermittent noise </li></ul>
