<p>Position: Coed MS/JH Golf Head Coach</p> <p>Reports to: Athletic Director & Varsity Golf Coach</p> <p>Job Summary:</p> <p>The MS/JH Golf Coach teaches golf fundamentals, course etiquette, and Christ-like character development.</p> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Golf coaching or playing experience preferred </li><li>Strong knowledge of golf basics, rules, and etiquette </li><li>Will to run successful summer camps </li><li>Great recruiter/retention skills for your program </li><li>Agreement with TPCS Athletic Purpose Statement, which reads: Traders Point Christian Schools is committed to developing and maintaining an athletic program that is Christ-centered, comprehensive, and competitive, and allows each athlete a unique venue to be a witness for Christ by using his or her God-given talent to move and play. </li><li>Ability to mentor new golfers </li><li>Must pass a background check </li><li>Must provide proof, or be willing to take CPR training </li></ul> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Teach golf fundamentals and course management </li><li>Promote Christian character and respect </li><li>Maintaining communication with administration, parents, and varsity staff is essential </li><li>Supervise athletes at all times, until the last one leaves any organized event that the team is a part of </li><li>Submit rosters, match results, and reports </li><li>Plan team banquet and awards </li><li>Follow inventory check-in & check-out policies with uniforms </li><li>Reports all game results to staff before 8 am the next day of the contest finish </li><li>Other duties as assigned </li></ul> <p>This position is:</p> <ul> <li>A 1099 contractor </li><li>Part-time, stipend </li><li>For the Spring Athletic season </li></ul>
