We are looking for a dedicated Data Specialist like you to be a part of our team.</p> <p>Job Summary and Qualifications</p> <p>The Ethics and Compliance Department provides support and guidance to Company management and the affiliated facilities to ensure the guiding principles of our Mission and Values Statement and Code of Conduct remain at the center of what we try to do and our legal compliance obligations are met. As the Data Specialist, you will be responsible for utilizing applications, analytics and reporting solutions within the Ethics and Compliance Department. You will work with the compliance teams across the department to ensure coordination and maintenance of databases and data systems and perform data extraction, analysis and reporting relating to the compliance program and functions. You will assist with compliance initiatives, auditing, monitoring, risk assessments and mitigation efforts. You will be responsible for identifying and interpreting trends that impact the program, the Company and preparing ad hoc reports for the department and interdepartmental collaboration.</p> <p>Job Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Use and support database applications and analytical tools used in the department while utilizing appropriate access to data sources required to satisfy project requirements. </li><li>Collect, analyze and trend data maintained in the database applications. </li><li>Directly supports the Ethics & Compliance Program Assessment AVP with projects related to Compliance Process Reviews, program assessment data reports, Corporate Review Schedule, emergency preparedness and employee surveys. Supporting Compliance Process Reviewers with scorecards, team rooms and other needs identified. </li><li>Analyze and report on compliance audit results and assist in identifying areas of risk based on trends identified in regular internal audits and various reporting. </li><li>Collaborate with department personnel in process reviews, program assessments, internal and external audits, risk assessments and mitigation strategies </li><li>Builds content within SharePoint for department. </li><li>Requests essential various reports throughout the department for Compliance Process Reviews from respective departments, and files data accordingly by review. </li><li>Develop and maintain dashboards, analytics, and ad hoc reports for all programmatic functions, including program development, program assessment, reporting exceptions and service line operations. </li><li>Maintain collaborative team relationships with department personnel to effectively contribute to the achievement of goals and to help foster a positive work environment. </li></ul> <p>Job Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelors degree or Master of Science in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, Information Systems, Information Management, Computer Science, or related field is required </li><li>5+ years of experience in performing related duties is required </li><li>Experience in database management is required </li><li>Experience in analytics-related tools, platforms, and languages (e.g., PowerBI, SharePoint, SQL, PowerApps, Forms). </li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills. </li><li>Self-driven and motivated for continuous improvement. </li><li>Ability to multitask and prioritize competing deadlines and related time pressures. </li><li>Strong analytical and organizational skills </li><li>Critical thinking and creativity. </li><li>Technical aptitude to learn and adapt to new industry applications and tools. </li></ul> <p>HCA Healthcare (Corporate), based in Nashville, Tennessee, supports a variety of corporate roles from business operations to administrative positions.
