<p>Company Description</p> <p>Job Description</p> <p>Job Location: NY or any other unanticipated worksites/locations throughout the US</p> <ul> <li>Lead the Cost Management team on specific client commissions, making sure that the team delivers on all accountabilities. </li><li>Take a lead role in interfacing with the client, stakeholders, and other consultants, at all project stages. </li><li>Identify opportunities to improve cost management procedures, templates and products. </li><li>Ensure that key information and learning generated from each commission inputted into internal databases and shared. </li><li>Process improvement - Identify and act upon ways to improve internal systems and processes. </li><li>Lead proposals for new work or variations for existing projects. </li><li>Attend relevant networking events and other promotional opportunities. </li><li>Staff management - Input into the formal management of staff and recruitment interviews. </li><li>Undertake Staff Performance reviews. </li><li>Financial management - Utilize the tools provided keep track of the ongoing margin levels and monthly fee/resource forecasts for each commission. </li><li>Lead the development of cost estimates in consultation with the design services team and general contractor using the CostX software. </li><li>Quality Control - Ensure compliance with quality standards and participation in ISO audits. </li><li>Participate effectively with post contract cost variances and the change control processes. </li><li>Manage Cost impact / contingency management and commitment tracking logs. </li><li>Prepare written comments to the general contractor's submissions, including the executive summary. </li></ul> <p>RELATED OCCUPATION:</p> <p>Senior/Cost Manager or any other job title performing the following job duties:</p> <ul> <li>Interfacing with the client, stakeholders, and other consultants, at all project stages. </li><li>Managing all Contract Administration tasks to ensure compliance with RICS standards and support efficient project execution. </li><li>Preparing and presenting monthly cost reports to the client while efficiently utilizing the client's web-based construction project management software system - PMWeb. </li><li>Dealing with post contract cost variances and the change control process. </li><li>Providing recommendations for interim payment applications, ensuring accuracy and adherence to Contract terms. </li><li>Preparing, negotiating, and finalizing financial accounts for projects, ensuring accuracy, compliance with Contractual terms, and timely resolution. </li><li>Facilitating commercial meetings and closeout discussions with the stakeholders to resolve outstanding issues and ensure project closure. </li><li>Leading Risk Review workshops with the client and engineer to identify potential project risks and mitigation strategies. </li><li>Creating cost plans and cost estimates using the CostX estimating tool, leveraging data from CAD drawings including BIM 2D and 3D models. </li><li>Making cost checks and carrying out valuations on larger projects and in all cases ensuring that timely and accurate cost checking and valuation takes place. </li><li>Identifying opportunities to improve cost management procedures and templates. </li><li>Leading a cost management team, ensuring that they deliver on all of the above accountabilities. </li></ul> <p>JOB TIME: Full Time</p> <p>SALARY RANGE: $191,000/year - $200,000/year</p> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>Requires a Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying & Construction Management and 7 years of experience in job offered or 7 years of experience in the Related Occupation.</p> <p>Additional Information</p> <p>Our inspired people share our vision and mission.
