<p>The Dover and Sherborn Public Schools seeks a Long Term Sub Occupational Therapist to support children (K-5) , staff, and families within the elementary and high school levels, beginning Monday, August 25, 2025, and ending on October 31, 2025. This is a part-time position</p> <p>Potential Flexibility Around Part Time or Full Time</p> <p>The certified Occupational Therapist provides quality school-based occupational therapy services, including assessment/evaluation, intervention/treatment, IEP planning and implementation, discharge planning, related documentation, and communication between teachers, paraprofessionals, related service providers, and families. ? Develop strength-based, child- and family-centered IEPs/504 plans. ? Conduct assessments, analyze results, and write reports. ? Perform evaluations of mobility, muscle tone, and orthopedic needs. ? Participate in IEP meetings and ensure compliance with all guidelines. ? Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and service logs. ? Educate families on therapy techniques for home use. ? Collaborate with families, teachers, and professionals. ? Use high-expectation, inclusive instructional practices tailored to diverse learners. ? Plan accessible, engaging lessons with clear goals. ? Foster active family involvement in school and the classroom. ?
