<p>RELIEF WORKER</p> <p>Part-time 8-40 hrs. /Week</p> <p>Shifts: 6:30 a.m.- 2:30 p.m., 2:00 p.m.- 10:00 p.m., 9:30 p.m.-7:30 a.m.</p> <p>GENERAL SUMMARY</p> <p>The purpose of this job is to supervise the safety and security of juvenile court wards and provide positive reinforcement and discipline.</p> <p>ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES</p> <ul> <li>Monitor and ensure the safety and security of all residents and facility staff. </li><li>Possess clear knowledge of and adhere to all facility policies and procedures. </li><li>Ensure individual and group interaction with residents. </li><li>Conduct individual and group interactions with co-workers and administration. </li><li>Paperwork/information management. </li><li>Perform related work as required. </li></ul> <p>MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS</p> <p>Required Education and Experience</p> <ul> <li>At least two years of relevant college-level course work or an Associate's degree from an accredited college or university in criminal justice, sociology, psychology, or a related field, with completion of an undergraduate degree preferred. </li><li>Some work experience working with juveniles is required.
